Disney On Ice: Frozen Show Review

The wait is over: Disney on Ice: Frozen is now showing at Valley View Center! My family and I frequent the Chick-fil-A next door to the Center and my oldest daughter has been asking every week if not every day if Frozen was in town yet. If you are like my family, you’ve seen the movie and heard the soundtrack over and over and have Frozen toys in every corner of your house.

I had a chance to attend the Media/VIP Night with my mom and 3 daughters and we all really enjoyed it (even the baby). I loved that Frozen was displayed in its perfect setting (on the ice of course) and that they added effects like snow. I think it’s inevitable that this would be one of the most popular Disney Ice shows to date. I am told that they become better and better as time goes by, and Frozen really raised the bar this time. If it wasn’t enough that Frozen is one of the best Disney musicals of all time, the characters are also so enjoyable that you can’t help but love them. Elsa and Anna were of course the fan favorites, but I really loved how they made characters like Olaf and Sven come to life.

I think one of the best things about attending the Disney On Ice shows is seeing all the kids dressed up. There has definitely been an “Elsa Phenomenon” ever since Frozen debuted in 2013 and I’m sure half of the audience was dressed as Elsa! It was also really enjoyable to sing all of the favorite Frozen songs with everyone as well. So if you have a little Frozen fan at home, I hope you have a chance to come out to Valley View Center to watch a show. They will be here all weekend and tickets can be purchased at the box office or online. More details are below!
