Introducing our Stronghold Tea Corner!

Fam + Friends! ☀️ I am so excited to reveal some Work in Progress Pics. 🥹 It’s only taken me 20+ years to finally get some progress going on my college dream. 🥰 Thank you so much Jazel for getting my “Why Wall” back up and helping me with our new Stronghold Tea Corner!

Story Time: I graduated in 2006, with the goals of opening up a coffee shop so I’d have a fun place for people to hang out. I actually toured spaces and one of those spots was where Tender Greens in Liberty Station currently is. Fast forward, I ended up working in an English tea room and opened a Jiu Jitsu academy instead. I put those coffee shop dreams on the back burner but realized years later I still had the opportunity to do fun events like I initially hoped. I was gifted this coffee cart back in 2018, and it’s taken me years to refurbish it but I’m excited to partner with my kids and our love of tea and community to offer this amazing little corner of The Stronghold! We still have a long way to go, but if you’re interested in pitching in to help us get it up and running, we just have to restore some of the cart appliances (piping, electric etc). We are going to mainly be selling our delicious cups of tea, stickers and rubber ducks, all sentimental things I’ve come to love with my kids over the years.
